Gil Penchina is a serial entrepreneur and prolific angel investor.

He is on the board of Fastly, Vouch Financial, UXPin and Wikia. Previously he was CEO of Wikia, now a top 50 website and a member of the pre-IPO team at eBay.

He has a Bachelors in Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Kellogg. In addition, Gil has been an active angel investor in 70 companies over the last 15 years including Linkedin, Paypal, INDIEGOGO, Wealthfront, Beepi, Datanyze, UXPin, Contactually, Couchsurfing, Songpop and many others.

Shawn Merani

Shawn Merani is a partner and a serial entrepreneur.

He built the Private Shares marketplace at Liquidnet. The platform enabled an investor base of 750 of the world’s leading asset managers opportunities to buy pre-IPO stock. Previously, Shawn was Senior Director, Business Development at ReachLocal (NASDAQ:RLOC) and a technology investment banker at Savvian Advisors.

Shawn received a BA in Economics and a BS in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley and his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Shawn enjoys playing basketball, traveling the world, fantasy sports and supporting the Cal Bears.

Prior to Joining Flight.VC, Alec was a partner at Serra Venture Partners and before that was an angel investor. Alec received a BS in Electrical Engineering at UC San Diego. In his spare time Alec enjoys tennis, golf, kickboxing and raising his two boys ages 12 and 15.
